Location (5 minutes to railway station), close to market, harbour, castle. Sauna, wellness, own kitchen. We reserved two rooms so shared bathroom and kitchen did not cause any problems.
No television

the location
wasnt great value for money, but that may have just been the time of year, also some utensils for the kitchen would have been very useful

Very clean and fresh rooms withs a very suitable location. (Near Olavinlinna).
Rather expensive for a students resident, but still ok.

First it is convenient located both by car and walking. We are frequent visitors to the Savonlinna Opera, and prefer to choose the Casino or Summer Hotel Vuorilinna. We will do it again at the next visit. The new check in at the Casino Hotel and brekfast same place is very good.
It is difficult to find a complain, but a better and more controled carparking would be nice, although it worked. Perhaps shades in the room to make it more dark!!!

Good location for opera-goers
Very basic rooms in a student dormitory, no air-conditioning. Breakfast also of basic quality only.

The room was clean and the furniture comfortable.
The receptionist was unwelcoming. Signs to the hotel seemed non- existent. The actual hotel was in a separate building away fro the reception building, up a steep gradient. There was no opportunity for self catering. The breakfast provided was not as good quality and choice of the Best Western Hotel Savonia Kuopiowhere we had stayed the previous night.

Hotel is very well located, rooms are clean and nice. There was a balkony in my room and a small kitchen, too. There were no neighbours to hear nor to see.
There were no kitchen facilities available, but this has been advised in the reservation e-mail.

Nice location with a glimpse of the lake from our room.
There seemed to be a lack of communication between the Best Western reception and staff preparing/servicing the Summer Hotel. The beds were not made up or the rubbish bins emptied when we arrived or for the duration of our stay. The main room light did not work and was not replaced despite our request. The tv also did not work.

Clean, essential, spacious and close to the city center.
No elevator (3rd floor with luggage to carry on it’s no so comfortable!). The price is a little high as it’s a building dedicated to students.

The total lack of kitchenware. The summer hostel is student accommodation, so each room has a kitchen - but what's the point of that, when there's not even a saucepan to hire?

Location. It was nice place. Breakfast was quite good.
I supposed that it could be a little cheaper with such level of comfort. It was really good for students coming to the University but too expensive for real students

We liked our accomodation because we had our own facilities, nobody was next door so we enjoyed our own kitchen and bathroom, there was a small outside bit where we could sit, it was very quiet and we slpt undisturbed. We had good breakfasts and the location was really good in the evenings we wandered onto other islands and watched the sun going down. We really enjoyed the spa and went both days to swim and soak. The reception staff were really helpfull when we needed to use the computer for the rest of our travels. All in all well done.

Clean functional rooms, two rooms sharing a kítchen, toilett, shower and balcon. Great for family with kids, additional bed was no problem. Alltogether very ok for this price in the city centre of Savonlinna.
